The island of Santorini is what remains of a huge volcano that erupted in about 1500 BC. Archaeologists think the eruption destroyed the Minoan civilization on nearby Crete. I have a healthy respect for volcanoes! What views, what sunsets! Why in heaven's name would you now want to go to Paris?
