Route 66 is now an old road that no one uses. I have driven on some of it, and it is so bumpy that it is painful! Interstate 40, a highway, runs parallel to 66 and you can see it. But I know what you mean about wanting to experience it. I am glad that I did (but I wouldn't do it again!). Do you like the song "Route 66"?
