Got a couple of shots that Jesse captured of the photo shoot with Thrasher that give some added perspective on the skateboarding entry I posted last week. Check it out.*
*No harm came to any photographers in the pursuit of these photographs.
Whoops, this took awhile to put up. This is some video from the karaoke night a couple of weeks ago. I expect we will be hearing from the remaining band members of Queen any day now asking us to at least be backup singers. That, or a cease and desist order.

It was brought to my attention on Friday from several AnD staff that it would be bad form for me to be in Hong Kong on Saturday and not show up at the Pat Lee performance. So, we showed up around 6:30 in the evening, and things were well under way. It looked like there were a couple hundred people on the sidewalk watching Pat work while someone was spinning the beats from inside. Do you know Thrasher? We've been friends now for about six months. I knew he could skateboard, but we never really talked about it. He's not one to brag. What happens when five Alive Not Dead artists bring their best to The Triple J Cafe in Shenzhen? An awesome night of photographs, music, food, drink and great friends. I've been pondering some new ways to play in the dark with a camera. I know what you are thinking, "Flash tag was so much fun, but I kept running into trees, poles and oncoming traffic." No, I'm looking at my tripod and thinking it needs some dusting off and use before it rusts into place. Happy, belated, New Year. 
Yikes! What happened? I went to Hong Kong for the day on Saturday to meet up with Mark and help him move into his sweet new pad on the 56th floor of wherever it is that his new place is - as if I know Hong Kong. We have a curry, we hook up with some AnD people and artists for some Karaoke - good times - and I headed back to Shenzhen. Got in around 2am. In bed - and feeling woozy - around 3. Up and sick by 4.
