What's the differences between childishness and childlikeness?

This is a copy of the play written by S I Hsiung "Lady Precious Stream" it was translated into English and staged in London. I found this in an antique book shop in London. Its a 1935 copy and there's a theatre programme attached to the script. Its a very rare find for me and I was elated to have found it.
