EATING FM: "Pork Belly Rappers"
After a full day of finalizing the recording of the last tracks on Animal and getting ready for mixing, its time to grub down. We called up the man over at BMI, Ray Yee, and decided on some good ol Korean BBQ.
Headed to Koreatown to a famous spot called Shik Do Rak... Known for some pork belly wrappers...
called the "HOUSE OF DUK BO SAM".. which is a thin rice paper that you wrap your pork or meat in..
Ray is an OG in the game, and one of the few if not only Asian exec at BMI
Always good talking music with Ray... he keeps us filled in on where he see's the game going and what's been working for other artists
We usually order some thin sliced beef, cut up steak.. and pork belly... whenever i hear that i think.. "WTF? Pork belly?" .. then i realize.. its just a fat piece of bacon hahha
They have all kinds of traditional korean dishes.. but we usually mess with the bloody beef/pork combo that feeds 4 and comes with soup and sides...
THE STEPS TO A GOOD KOREAN BBQ MEAL:
J Splif came to Dance Like Mike.
This place was one of the first places to start with the Duk Bo Sam (rice paper wrapper)...

This spot has been around for ages so we go here by default.. theres a few other spots around ktown that get a 3 fingers up for flavor but i'd still recommend this spot if your ever in the area.
