i dont know why, but when i came out of Racks this afternoon to find a Triumph Speed Triple 1050 parked right next to my Triumph Daytona Triple 675, i was really excited and happy. without hesitation, i whipped out my phone and snapped a few shots. for those who dont know, the Speed Triple 1050 is the bigger brother version of my Daytona Triple 675 - 1050cc as opposed to my 675cc. that's a huge difference! a monster of a bike! it's considered a real tough, no nonsense bike. it's a "naked" bike - meaning it has no fairings (the covers that help to make my bike look so sleek). anyhow, it got me real excited to see such a tough bike parked next to mine. there aren't many Triumphs in HK so it was like finding a long lost relative. the dude really must ride hard too, as i took a look at his tires to see how he rides and he's definitely got a pair on him. i could tell by the wear all the way to the edges, that he takes hard, fast turns with big leans at high speeds. the even wear along the middle to the edge also tells me he spends a good proportion of his riding hours on hills and curvy roads rather than straight highway and flat roads. the abundant tiny blister-like scarring on his tires also tells me he rides fast - like a bat out of hell on those turns. i hope you all can appreciate the beauty of this bike and the person who's riding the hell out of it!
