I've been back from my Chinese new Year holiday for nearly 2 weeks and i'm still adjusting to my life back here in hk. When i'm in Singapore, I have a totally different life. It's like i'm living 2 person's life. Over here in hk, I live my every hour, practically with Rosanne.
We sleep and wake at about the same time, we eat , exercise, work, watch movie, hang out, ....we even shower at the same time (though not together) so that we can watch a dvd together, so the last trip when i went back to Singapore earlier than she did, I had to email her almost everyday to update her on my life there which she knows very well...it feels rather weird.
Some of my friends say that I have a slower than normal person's reaction to many things. Like when something happens, I'll give a 2 seconds delayed reaction. They should see me when i'm in Singapore cuz when i'm taking a break, I'm a 90% shutdown with a 10% soul on a low batt body. Upon arriving in hk from Singapore, I realised that i left my hk wallet in Singapore and I'd kept it somewhere ''safe'' yet I don't recall where and my mum's been looking for it for 10 days and she hasn't found it yet. My God... I wonder if my head is on my shoulders or did i leave it somewhere else....
These 2 weeks in hk has been rather hectic. We're in the midst of a contract with our new company, recorded a song with them which I really liked. Rozy wrote the lyrics for the song. It is beautifully written (it's her first attempt). There're 2 versions to this song. One's by me, one's by Rozy. I'm sure it'll be cool if you can listen to them both.
We resumed dancing and KungFu classes and spent so much time catching up with our friends in hk....who are mostly from AlivenotDead. AliveNotDeaders are the most awesome and talented people.Thank you so much for being our friends. We were seeing so much pf each other in hk and then Shanghai that i felt as though we're living a in dorm together cuz all our family are somewhere else in the world not hk. Reminds me of my school days in Perth where my friends and I hang out alllllllll the time. Those were the days my friends...
We went about running errands today. We returned and collected clothes, went to the bank, bought a gift for our friend's baby, bought new dvds from HMV, checked out Chanel Mobile Art... Rozy and I felt the need to calm our souls. We went to our favourite supermarket- Citysuper. Looking at the fresh, uncooked food somehow clears our mind and brings us back down to earth. We bought bread, fruits, vegetables, US Shabu beef (yes we're having shabu shabu at home tonight), cake mix (to bake more cakes), yogurt, cranberry juice...etc..
After paying at the cashier on our way out, we were being photographed by paparazzi. Rozy said they've been following us throughout our shopping which...i didn't have the slightest idea. I asked her why she didn't alert me. She goes : " well..it's just shopping at the supermarket. So you'll have lotsa natural shots" ha ha ha ha. oh thank you very much rozy.. hahaha.
Our next stop is to Sheung wan, to stock up on Chinese products for making soup. Afterwhich we went to the temple at 5.50pm. It's closed. I knocked on the door and someone on the other side of the door said " we're closed". I was disappointed cuz earlier in the afternoon, we went to the Chanel Mobile Art exhibition and all their tickets for today's sold out. We got tickets for Wednesday instead. Back to the Temple. A middle aged lady came along and said she'll help us ask if they'll let us in. She knocked on the door and told them it's us ! The 2 really nice girls. ha ha ha.....they let us in. I'm so grateful to her. I prayed and thanked Buddha for my very lucky and fortunate life. I told her I'm really contented with my life. I feel better after my prayers cuz I need to let Buddha know that I really appreciate all that I have. I'm a lucky girl.
