Last week was a pretty fun week. I was able to watch a bunch of friends perform and support their new releases. We also made a day trip to Macau and got to check out Zaia at the Venetian which was cool too. All this new music made me amped on the new tunes I'm working on so hopefully they will see the light of day soon......
Tuesday night I went to watch "Music is Live" featuring my friends
Eric Kwok, Fama, Jan, and Miriam at Asia World Arena and it was dope. It was cool watching them collaborate, goof around, and even bust out some dance numbers. There was even a Swing reunion! Good job Eric!
Rubberband also had a CD release party for their "Apollo 18" album at Philia. Those guys rocked! It was fun catching up and watching Kelvin (who produced my first release) and the guys achieve their dream of putting out a CD. Mini also got up there jammed!
My family and I took the day off to go to watch Cirque du Soleil's "Zaia" in Macau. It was a good show but I thought "Allegra" was more exciting. If the polar bear was real maybe I'd change my mind...ha.
Charmaine, Louis, and Kenny also performed at the PolyU! They were in a musical which featured Beyond songs put into a love story. I was really impressed with everyone's performance. Louis just killed it! Respect!
Fallen's "Ride the Sky" DVD got a release screening by HKIT which was fun. Nice seeing a bunch of peeps supporting the skate scene. I just love the the pic from the mag because it has the super low-key Fa Chai in it...yeah!
Oh yeah, big thanks to Oli at Element for the fresh new gear! Can't wait to skate the new deck which is also Kingsley approved!
Last but not least our Bath experience finally ended at The Fringe club. Thanks again to C.A.S.H., PRS Foundation, Bath Spa University, and everyone who came out to watch us play. It was a great experience.
