Silence on the phone. Not during conversation but after the shards of voicemail robotics have pierced my eardrums. Her fingers would have dialled again without looking if not for the touchscreen of her phone.
She kisses my ear and I see a chromatic vision of her - only yellows and golds and oranges, what happened the night before is mandated to be blue, purple, eggplantish. She likes that it's such a blur. I don't.

Suddenly, I'm performing at least twice a week somewhere, out of nothingness, I am overwhelmed by what 2011 has brought!
First, there is the regular at Orgo Bar (Esplanade Rooftop!) with that beautiful view of the bay on Wednesdays 8.30-11pm with my good friends Euntaek Kim (Keys) and Jase Sng (Bass)! Latin, R&B, my original songs and pop songs with a twist is what's going on!

I am going to work on a 2 and 5 year plan.
Today I met up with Laichan, a fashion designer, and he told me has a 12 year plan!!
My immediate plan for the year, is that I should be writing at least 3 new songs a month (1 every 10 days) for practice, and meet up with more people to co-write songs with them. I have Rani and Wenfu on the list so far! Every month, i'll record just one song on average. Then, by September, i'd have at least 20 songs to choose from and at least 12 recordings. Ambitious eh.

I've been going through a period of ups and downs, facing the world as a solo artist is one of the most difficult things to do in the Music Industry where everything is extremely competitive, and the struggle for media recognition is never ending.
On a happy note, I was on Yahoo's Fit-to-Post as a featured artiste :) I think you can get a pretty genuine sense of my attitude towards the music scene here.

Timbre was GREAT atmosphere wise, and it was really great to get to know some new audiences tonight and catch up with some old friends who i haven't seen for SO long :)
