Too tired to blog anything profound. So the highlights will have to suffice...
Day 1 (Wed.) Arrived 6:30 AM. Saw Mt. Fuji from 30,000 ft. It was incredibly impressive (have photo). Went to Ueno park to take sakura pictures for my mother. Took 100. Found a file saw. It gives me wood, which I can use the file saw on. Ouch. Went to Shibuya to achieve phoneliness. Failed profoundly. Looked at guitars in Shibuya. Went to Ochanomizu. Looked at guitars and the ESP shops. Have photos and stories. Went back to my hotel at 6 to check in. Ate dinner twice in restaurants, then read a book and went to sleep. I'm getting old and duller.
Day 2 (Thurs.) Went to Shinjuku and looked at guitars. Bought an MXR EVH-model Phase 90 used for Y98,00. Bought some parts for my guitar builds. Didn't buy any guitars.Took a nap in the afternoon. Went to Ebisu to meet Motoki and Mr. Hashiguchi-san for dinner. Nana is in Kyushu. I got the impression she would otherwise have been there, and I was happy.
Day 3 (Friday/today) Went to Akabane to look for hex drivers. Don't ask. Found some CDs. Went ot Shibuya to look for hex drivers and at guitars. Had lunch with a person I met at Filmart who is pushing High Kick girl. Bought Golden Rock the CD he asked for. Bought Gigi the heating pads she asked for. Drank lots of Pocari Sweat. Met Mio to watch Mai Shoji sing in Shin-Okubo. Went early to look at guitars. Mio and I hd dinner at a Korean place, then grabbed trains home.
Tomorrow i will go see Crows Zero 2 and then go to Akhibara to look for hex drivers.
