It was a fruitful and productive 2 day event.
Firstly, let me write this from the perspective of the music industry exec. There were 2 consistent themes this year (and both are mostly about digital music). They are 1) Content over Context and 2) Accessibility of Music.

Having been in Music Matters for the past few years, I thought I should say more about the event. My advice is to GO if you can. There is so much interesting stuff on the agenda. You will probably die and not go pee. Some topics include: The Japan Market, The China Market, 360 deals and what it means to Artist etc etc.

Hi,Had a really good trip up at Beijing. The last time I was there was 2 years ago and I can tell you I can hardly recognize any of the places. The developments are going so fast, and I suppose the Olympics have played a big part as well.What really impressed me was the arts compound "798". I have seen nothing like this.
