Me and a few friends met up for dinner last night here in Beijing. It was supposed to be a small artist meet-up, but our guest of honor ( Andrew) had to change his flight back to HK for work, so he wasn't able to make it. Anyway, my friend Karen helped us book a private room at a well known Guizhou cuisine restaurant to the ...Read more
A dear friend of mine thinks my blogs about HK trams are uninteresting and worthy of scorn. Of course I disagree and I know some of you out there share my view! (the silent majority of tram appreciators!)Last week as she and I were walking down King's Road in North Point, we spotted a unique creature I blogged about just 1 month ago. - its the green #200 tram! Up to that point I had never seen t...Read more
Last month I went with Phil and Ana to MK for some shopping (they were shopping for games). I poked around the rest of the mall to see what have there. One interesting shop:Its a store that JUST sells Trucker Hats... next to watches and financial instruments, Hong Kong's next biggest export is apparently trucker hats...

The man who is as far as I'm concerned, the most amazing stylist in the universe, Mr. Alvin Goh had a launch event at the Landmark's atrium tonight. Knowing that I am the avid photo taker / blogger, Alvin was wise to invite me to attend. It was to premiere an exhibition of photos styled by Alvin for the cosemetics brand 'Guerlain' (I know next to nothing about cosemetics, so don't ask me for any more details than that). Actually the event was super relevent to our community too - the model...Read more

Just got back from Macau an hour ago and am in the office uploading Teddy Chen's 8.8 fundraiser video to youku.com (its 5am!) 我剛剛從澳門回來﹐我們去看林肯公園的演唱會。這個博客是我在幕後拍的照片。(下個博客是我在表演中拍的照片!)Despite having slept only a few hours the night before, I couldn't wait to start uploading my pics from Linkin Park's show at the Venetian! Last Wednesday I went to see 'Up' in English and 3D at IFC. It was funny, I ran into not one, not two, but three different unrelated people I knew who were at the same screening. It appears there's a lot of demand for the English version and not a lot of places in town showing it. (for most animated movies they dub cantonese versions (since little kids can't read subtitles). Its interesting because they don't do dubbing for almost any other kind of movie or TV here....)Read more
Most of you don't know this, but unlike the rest of us, Olivier is a well behaved relationship guy. He's about to tie the knot with his long time gf.... we were ready for a crazy blow-out cocaine and hooker-fest in Macau, but alas he didn't agree... so instead we did something relatively benign - Paint Ball! it was a relatively...Read more
My last HK Tram related blog was a few weeks ago when the tram I was riding in had a fender-bender(or rather a 'bumper ripper-outter') with a Mini-Bus. This one is a bit more less dramatic, but none the less interesting to tram-fans. A week or two ago I was coming home late at night and I saw this strange site. A bizarre green tram:Read more
