Hey guys, I did a video for the Hong Kong band King Ly Chee. These guys are hardcore with their music, so it was quite challenging to create something visually appealing to go with the track. I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of this kind of music. I did tell Riz, the singer, that if he sang it like a pop song it could be huge. hahahaAnyway, I used my new Sony FS700 camera to help out these guys and get some slo mo shots. I'll be speaking at a Sony seminar, so the timing is perfect to show it off...hopefully it doesn't b...Read more

A new career path for me? Last week I was in Malaysia for a steadicam course. I'm even more in love with it now after taking it. It felt like a dream to have Garret Brown (Rocky, Shining, Twilight zone, Indiana Jones, Casino) and Jerry Holway (the Apostle, Die Hard, Family Stone) teach me the secret to using the Steadicam. It was a very intense workshop organized by Tiffen. Mega thanks to Brett and Robin for a wonderful experience. I'll get into more details later...for now...It's time to get my ass movingRead more

Hope ya'll had a Happy New Year! Mine started on a high note and almost missed celebrating with the family for the first time. Luckily I managed to meet up with them in time for the countdown. I've been busy shooting Aaron Kwok in concert and I can tell you his show is insane!! I love the production and his stage is ridiculous! Tonight's show was the highlight for me as I got a last minute update to charge onto the stage and use my steadicam rig to film him. It was awesome! This was my favorite moment (using a wide angle) I w...Read more
