This status update is more for myself to organize my thoughts, but also for anyone else who cares to see what I’ve been up to.
1) US Wushu Team Trials is coming up in less than 3 weeks. I registered on June 1st and paid my USAWKF (kung fu federation) dues. 2 years comes around fast.

Realizing more and more that not all people have equal skill in all areas. After a certain level of development we all truly have areas we are especially good at it. It is fortunate when you identify your passion to be in the interest area that you truly have a knack for.

So I was having a conversation with Haz.. and I discussed a possible scenario where working at my current job might still allow me x amount of time to work on creative ventures/projects VERSUS if I did not work and have a job I might theoretically STILL only work on my projects the SAME X hours.
So I said, in this case.. what would be the point of not working at a job except that I would save on my commute time to work.

interesting study- they made men and women associate a certain negative word by pointing to a picture of a man on a slide and then a positive word with a picture of a woman, but when asked to switch it and point to the man for positive and the woman for negative words.. the men were easily able to see (point at the appropriate picture) both as either positive or negative.. whereas women had a hard time grasping/pointing to the man on the positive words despite trying to be open minded and follow directions.
