Wow....I seriously have never had so many people say Happy Birthday to me. I'm so very touched..and even now....as I hold on to that 1 hr before I turn one more year older....I can't help but think how blessed I am to have such great friends...and such a wonderful family....so many people who believe in me and are there to support me. Wow...I haven't been too good about blogging. Well..last week I went to Japan to teach a workshop and get certified as an instructor. I was pretty nervous since Ania told me that the students were expecting me to teach something more Cabaret/Broadway style. I prepared a very soulful/lyrical dance that was completely NOT Broadway style. So, I had 1 hr to change it the night before!!! Last night I had the pleasure of finally working with the best musicians in town! We had a gig for the opening of the W Hotel. Terence and I were guest singers for the event. Let me just say....there is nothing better than singing with an awesome band. This year has started off pretty hectic.....I got back from my vacation feeling total withdrawal and completely bitter that I had to go into rehearsals while my family was still enjoying their vacation in SF. I called nearly every single day to see what they were doing....and here I was in HK..trying hard to concentrate with the days drawing near for our opening night. There is nothing more important to me than spending time with my family. I am VERY close to my family and there isn't a day that goes by where I don't think about them and wish that they lived in the same country as me. So, obviously every year I really look forward to the holidays where we all gather together and spend quality time together just watching movies, eating, and laughing all day.

On Sunday I had to perform in Shenzhen at the Mission Hills golf course. Ania (my teacher) and I performed for the after party of the World Cup and it was sponsored by Omega watch....I was really nervous for the performance because it was going to be my first time performing pole dance and we didn't even have time to rehearse. So, basically, the whole night was going to be improv! I woke up on Sat, Nov 29th (the day after the competition) with a pain in my muscles…my shoulder, my back, my neck……and all these bruises had appeared along my lower legs and thighs. I also had this strange looking scratch on my arm!
Just to clear things up…I’ve been training for this pole dancing competition for the past 2 months…which is only 3 to 4 months after I started pole dancing! Frankly, I was not really ready to compete….I had lack of confidence since most people have at least had a year of experience. ...Read more

6:00am check in at the Cathay Pacific counter @ the airport express and got bumped up to
business class because the flight was full!!!!

Ok, so....the pole dancing competition is coming up this Friday....I am completely and utterly terrified!!! I really hope that this will be the last competition that I ever have to do in my life. I'm starting to feel nervous because today at practice I could barely get through the entire routine! I'm going to have to change a few things around in my routine and put the hard things more at the beginning...by the end of my routine I'm so exhausted I can't get my legs up on the pole for the upside down move!!!...Read more
