Ok, here is my skydiving video! I did this on June 7th for my brother, Harry's birthday. I have always wanted to try skydiving!! And, it was such a fun experience. I was really surprised that I wasn't really scared...it was just all so surreal. I think it helped that Harry went up with me and had been doing this for a while now....it made it less scary.

I had the privilege to sing the National Anthem at an A's Baseball game on Wednesday afternoon. It was definitely a fun experience. I think it may be the biggest audience I've ever had! So....I got to the stadium at 10am to do a sound check. It was the first time I ever had to use those earpieces so that I could hear myself sing. There is a few seconds delay....so, I needed to wear the earpiece in order to not be distracted by my own delayed voice.
For some odd reason....my throat likes to start hurting right before I have to perform. I think it likes to challenge me and take control of the situation....well....I'm going to have to fight it before tomorrow evening....yesterday I went to get some Chinese medicine to drink...YUCK!!! I really hate that stuff..but, I prefer to drink that then to take antibiotics. I probably went to bed around 10pm....afterall, sleep is the best medicine...So...this morning...I was hoping to wake up and the pain would be gone..but, throughout the ...Read more
So, I've been pretty busy rehearsing for the rerun of the play I'm in. It's called "Pussycat Theatre" and it's at the Fringe Club at 8pm on May 15th and 16th. If you are interested in going you can get your tickets at the Fringe Club or online at HK Ticketing. I believe the tickets are running out. Last time we did the show, it was sold out and a lot of my friends weren't able to go. So....buy your tickets now! Some of the proceeds will go to Breast Cancer.
Other projects coming up.... I will be in ...Read more
Video: http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2nKs9pxj4E I taught a musical theatre workshop on Sunday Easter night. It was my first time teaching more in a dance studio setting rather than a fitness center setting. There is a difference btw teaching at a gym and teaching with a dance studio. The students are usually more advanced and more aware of which teachers can actually teach. I LOVE dancing and I can be quite snobby when I take classes. I can tell if the...Read more
I've been in Shanghai for a little over a week now. I'm here to take care of my two very adorable twin nieces. They are my cousin, Lawrence's (the guitarist from many of my shows) little girls. And, they have grown so much since the last time I saw them. I'm so amazed at how good their English reading comprehension is now. I've even taught them how to sing a few English songs...it's really very cute!
So, since I've been here...I've thought about writing a book about "Why I ...Read more
I had the most amazing birthday on Sat night. I think that it was the best idea ever to put on a show on my birthday...pretty unique...and I'm sure many people will start to do it once they realize how fun it is to do what you LOVE doing on your birthday! I was so happy to have many of my friends come to watch and celebrate....and very excited to find out that the majority of people were people who came for the show and I didn't even know them!
I had the best time working with my boyz this time around....Jun, Eugene,...Read more
