From the beginning of the alive project, our mission statement emphasized 2 points. “Alive is the willingness to express yourself,” and alivenotdead.com is an “on-line artistic community.”
To be honest, when I wrote the mission statement, I had no idea how to create an on-line artistic community. We invited you all to send us your photos, music, and videos, but we didn’t actually have a website that can properly showcase your creations. So pretty much over the last year or so I have spend much of my time learning about ...Read more
Hey Everyone,
I am back once again from a rather long absence. It feels very strange because I actually feel I have a lot to say, but have not really talked to you all about what I have been doing. I think I am ready to start now. As you all know I have been working on the new alivenotdead.com. We have been working very hard to build the new site and we should now be able to have a soft launch for the new site end of March. So it’s only a few weeks away! I know I said this ...Read more
Dear All,
In my absence from writing on this site, I have actually been working on many things related to the spirit of alivenotdead and on building a new and better website for all of us to play with. I have told Jezs and some others in our community about what I have been working on, but have not really written about this to you all until now.
As Andrew has said, on December 9th, Alive and Cruiser will host a concert in Taipei. This is to be the last time Alive will ever sing together. By now it should be ...Read more
Now I can't have my good friend call me a loser in his blog without writing an immediate reply. Hi everybody! Consider this a peak from the shadows. Ah . . . what have I been up to lately? I just finished a movie last week. The movie is called "Dead-Air." It's a horror movie about an actress at a T.V station that becomes a ghost and causes some serious havoc. I play a T.V presenter that becomes one of the ghost's victims. The movie stars Derek Tseng, Layla Tong, and Raymond Wong. I have not worked with Derek and Lay...Read more
Hello Everyone!
It has been a long time since I wrote and commented on the site. I am sorry for this, but I have been very busy planning the revamp I have been talking about for some time and also some other projects that you all will hear more about in the near future. I have been very well and will be more active talking to you guys from now on.
The last couple days have been very busy for me. We had a PAG (Performing Artists Guild) meeting last night to discuss the terrible article in...Read more
Today has been a very special day for me and the Alive Boys. We had an event today at Langham Place to promote "The Heavenly Kings." It was fun! There were hundreds of people in the audience, we played games, ate some Easter chocolate, we sang, and we talked about our movie.
The BIG announcement we made today at the event is that we formed Alive so that we could make "The Heavenly Kings." We have been planning the movie from day 1 and Alive was born so that we could make th...Read more
It has been a whirwind for me and the rest of the Alive Boys the last couple weeks. Daniel's secret project he has been editing into the movie, "The Heavenly Kings" had 2 premiere showings in the Hong Kong International Film Festival, on April 5th and April 9th. I have to say the premieres were a very special and rewarding experience for me and all the people who have worked so hard on the Alive project.
First things first. A big BIG UP to Daniel for his directorial debut. I think he did a fabulous...Read more
Hello Everyone!
Got back to H.K from covering the Oscars in L.A a couple days ago. Still a bit jet-lagged and a bit under the weather. Trying to rest and get well before I start work again next week.
Did a photo shoot with the Boys for Wing Shya last Thursday. The shoot was a bit strange for my taste, but I know Wing is a really good photographer and it was good to do something with the Boys again. Daniel told me during the shoot that he is re-editing some of our internet video footage into som...Read more
Hello to you all! It has been a while since I have written. Time has been moving by very fast. Seems like only late at night when I am chillin' by myself do I find any real peace and relaxation.
A lot has been going on lately. As you all know, I have just finished a tele-feature with Andrew in Taiwan. It was a fun project to work on because I get to work with Andrew and also because I like being in Taiwan. Love the food and I have good friends there. The movie we worked on is called 21 Blackjack and I pla...Read more

We never thought that we would be up for any awards because we are releasing our music on the Internet and not with a CD. So for us to be receive this award from Yahoo as well as being nominated for Best...Read more
